The Clash at Daytona is a staple of Daytona Speedweeks for NASCAR. We have incorporated this event into the FTSR lineup as well. The Clash at Daytona is a non-points, action-packed event and is the first actual race of the 2018-A season. Below, you will find the race details for the first annual FTSR Clash at Daytona.

Schedule & Race Format

8:00pm EST - Practice
The server will open for 1 hour of practice prior to the race for all eligible Clash drivers. 
 
9:00pm EST - Qualifying - 2 Laps
Drivers take to the track for 2 laps of qualifying to set the lineup for The Clash at Daytona.
 
9:10pm EST - Race Segment 1 - 20 Laps
A 20 lap race segment. A mandatory competition caution will be thrown at the completion of lap 20. 
 
9:45pm EST - Race Segment 2 - 40 Laps
A 40 lap race segment. The winner of segment 2 is declared the winner of The Clash at Daytona.
 
 
Notes:
All practice, qualifying and race segments will be facilitated in 1 server. Times listed are estimated start times.
 
Cautions will be on for both segments. Drivers are encouraged to race smart and clean to provide more green-flag racing action.
 
If a caution is underway at the completion of lap 20, the caution will be considered the competition caution and no additional competition caution will be displayed.
