On April 21st, 2025, the drivers of the Victory Fuel Cup Series headed to Auto Club Speedway for the running of the Auto Club 250. Jeff Chandler would lead the field of 32 drivers to the green flag after a blistering lap in qualifying in his #31 Elliott Sadler Esports machine and the #19 of Richie Coy would join him on the front row of the grid. The #48 of Jamie Knopf took the lead early on in the event and was out front for the majority of the day, leading a race-high 29 of the 125 laps.
The #2 of Allen DaRonco put on a show for the fans and his Elevated eSports crew during the event, climbing from a 24th place starting position to finish 4th, up 20 positions on the day. Unfortunately, #31 Elliott Sadler Esports driver Jeff Chandler did not fair as well and had a tough day, dropping from a 1st place starting position to finish a disappointing 25th place. The #2 of Allen DaRonco set the fastest lap of the event with a lap of 40.240, proving that Elevated eSports builds some wicked fast racecars and had serious pace this weekend.
At the end of the day, it was the #98 of Nick Alford for HotLap Heros who took the checkered flag, leading 19 of the 125 laps on their way to victory in the Auto Club 250 and his 2nd win of the season. The margin of victory was 00.091 over second place finisher Brandon Phetterplace in the #34 HotLap Heros machine. The #48 of Jamie Knopf finished in third for LA Motorsports, followed by the #2 of Allen DaRonco in fourth and the #19 of Richie Coy in fifth.
All eyes now turn to next week, where some drivers look to continue their success, while others look to get back on track in the 2025-A Victory Fuel Cup Series season.
