On June 11th, 2025, the drivers of the SimRacingPoints.com Truck Series headed to Talladega Superspeedway for the running of the Talladega 200. Brenden Polt would lead the field of 34 drivers to the green flag after a blistering lap in qualifying in his #71 Elliott Sadler eSports 2 machine and the #24 of William Lark3 would join him on the front row of the grid. The #43 of Louis Meglen took the lead early on in the event and was out front for the majority of the day, leading a race-high 35 of the 78 laps.
The #93 of Richard Myers3 put on a show for the fans and his RYCO Performance crew during the event, climbing from a 28th place starting position to finish 10th, up 18 positions on the day. Unfortunately, #43 Meglen Racing driver Louis Meglen did not fair as well and had a tough day, dropping from a 4th place starting position to finish a disappointing 24th place. The #16 of Robert Melikian set the fastest lap of the event with a lap of 49.265, proving that Elevated eSports builds some wicked fast racecars and had serious pace this weekend.
At the end of the day, it was the #7 of Wayne Grasse for WGRacing who took the checkered flag, leading 1 of the 78 laps on their way to victory in the Talladega 200 and his 1st win of the season. The margin of victory was 00.027 over second place finisher Cameron Albertson in the #76 Lucky 7 Motorsports machine. The #71 of Brenden Polt finished in third for Elliott Sadler eSports 2, followed by the #22 of Micheal P Blackner in fourth and the #77 of Noah Nicholson in fifth.
All eyes now turn to next week, where some drivers look to continue their success, while others look to get back on track in the 2025-B SimRacingPoints.com Truck Series season.
