How Do I Join FTSR?

Below, we will walk you through each step to complete your league application and join FTSR.

1. Register For An Account

Register for an account on the website by clicking "Register" in the Member Login block on the left of the main page or by clicking HERE.

2. Join A Series

Once you complete the website registration process and log into your account, click Dashboard on the top menu to view the active series for the league. Click the green "Join Series" button in the driver options column for the series you wish to join.

3. Join A Team / Create A Team

All drivers must be on a team and assigned to a car to race in the league. You can choose to drive for a current team in the series or you can create your own team. It costs nothing to drive for a team in the league but if you want to start your own team, you will be required to purchase a charter. We explain both options below.

Option A: Join A Current Team
If you are looking for a team to join, a great place to start is the teams page for the series. Click the "Series" dropdown on the main menu, hover over the series and select the "Teams" page. On this page, you can view all of the teams in the series, the drivers, any open spots the team currently has and you can also contact the team owner directly. You will also want to post in the league Discord that you are looking for a ride in a series. If you are only looking to join a team, skip to Step 6.

Option B: Create A New Team
If you would like to create and fund your own team and ride, visit the Dashboard and click the green "Create A Team" button under the Team Options column for the series. Add your team name and click submit. Once your team is created, you will then see the "Manage Team" button where you can purchase cars, send contracts and more. If you are starting your own team, continue with Step 4.

4. Purchase A Charter (Team Owners Only)

If you are choosing to drive for your own team, you will need to purchase a charter. The cost of a charter, as well as all series payouts, are listed on the Dashboard page under the "Payouts and Fees" column for each series.

You will need credits in your account to purchase a charter. At the top right of the screen, you can click the Plus "+" beside your credit total to add credits. Choose the amount and click submit. You will be redirected to PayPal to complete the transaction. IMPORTANT: You must allow PayPal to redirect you back to the website for the transaction to be competed successfully.

Once you have the credits to purchase a charter, return to the Dashboard and click the "Manage Team" button for the series you are joining. On this page, you will click the "Purchase A Charter" button. Choose an available car number from the "Car Number" dropdown, click the "Checkout" button. You will be redirected to your team charters page and you should now see the charter in the slot. You now own a charter.

5. Send Yourself A Contract (Team Owners Only)

Once you have an charter, you will need to send yourself a contract for the charter. In the charter box under the number, click the green "Send A Contract" button. Find yourself in the dropdown for driver. Set your percentage (this does not matter since 100% of the earnings go to your account either way). Since you are the owner, the contact will be automatically approved. You can also set the sponsor and change manufacturers by clicking the pencil beside each section.

6. Receiving A Contract

If you receive a message on the website that you have received a contract offer from a team, you can view this and all contract offers by visiting the Dashboard and clicking the blue "My Contracts" button for the series. Here you can view all contract offers as well as any contracts you have accepted. Your active contract will be marked with a check mark on the left side in the active column. View your offers and the terms and conditions of the contract (winning percentages, conditions, requirements and additional information) and accept the contract that is right for you.

7. Apply To The Series On iRacing

When you accept a contract, you will see an important popup displayed. Follow the directions in the popup to apply to the series on iRacing. The popup will give you the league ID as well as the series name to search for in the iRacing league section. Optionall, you can search "FTSR" to see all active FTSR series. Drivers must apply to the league on iRacing to have access to the servers for the series.

8. Start Your Career

Once you complete all of the steps above and are part of the series on iRacing, you are ready to race and start your dynasty at FTSR.
