SERIES PLAYOFF POINTS SYSTEM
The following playoff system wil be used to determine the drivers championship.

Playoff Points will be applied to the start of rounds 1, 2 and 3 of the playoffs.

Playoff Points will continue to be accumulated through the playoff as well and will be addded to the drivers total.

QUALIFYING FOR THE PLAYOFFS
The playoff field is determined by the following conditions in order:

1. Winning a regular season points-paying event locks you into the playoffs UNLESS the number of winners exceeds the number of playoff spots available. If there are more than 16 different winners in the regular season, we take the 16 drivers who have the most wins. In the event of a tie, we will break ties in the order of (a)point total, (b)number of races started, (c)top 5's, and (d)top 10's.

2. In the event there are fewer than 16 different winners in a series, the remaining positions are filled by the highest non-winning drivers in regular-season driver points.

3. The regular-season champion is guaranteed a playoff spot even if they do not have a win. In the event that there are 16 different winners who are eligible for the playoff and the regular-season champion has not won a race, the driver with the fewest regular-season points would be bumped from the playoff by the regular-season champion.



PLAYOFF ELIGIBILITY
To become eligible for the Series Playoffs, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
A. You must be in the top25in regular season points at the end of the regular season



THE PLAYOFF FORMAT
The playoff format used is based on the current NASCAR playoff system. To start the playoffs, all eligible drivers have their points reset to 2000 (then 3000, 4000 and 5000 in each subsequent round) plus any additional playoff points they have accumulated throughout the season (except in the final round).

Each round will consist of 3 race events, with the exception being the final round, which will consist of a single race to crown the champion.

Drivers who win a race in a round of the playoffs automatically advance to the next round. This continues the "win and you're in" mantra. Playoff points are still awarded for race wins and stage wins in the playoff for playoff drivers.

At the end of each of the first 3 rounds, the 4 drivers lowest in points (without a win in the round) will be cut from contention and removed from the playoff roster. The points will be reset for advancing drivers, playoff points will be added and the playoff continues. In the event two drivers are tied, the tiebreaker is best finish in the current round, the most top 5's in the current round, the most top 10's in the current round then fewest incident points in the current round. At the last race, its driver vs driver! The driver who is able to finish ahead of the other 3 championship contenders in the final race will win the series championship title for the year!
