I started sim racing in 2000 using the Papyrus platform. I believe it was called NASCAR Racing. Once we had NASCAR 2003 I exclusively raced that until 2006 when I heard that a new sim was being created and they needed BETA testers for a new project called iRacing. I applied and was accepted. I beta tested for about 2 months and at that point I honestly didn�t think iRacing would be a viable option. Obviously I was a bit premature in my observations but to my defense I was racing in real life. I drag raced and ran all over the eastern seaboard. We had 10 races per year and the real car just required a lot of my time so I opted out of iRacing but continued with NASCAR 2003.

In 2008 when iRacing was starting to roll I joined again and raced solo until 2013 when I crossed paths with Carson McClelland who owned team Sim Chassis. Sim Chassis was a team that ran in the Peak Antifreeze Series(Coke Series now). We hit it off and I become a member of the team and Carson�s spotter. While we were a bit off the pace we certainly learned a lot during that time. While we never won a race in my time there we certainly improved quite a bit.

In 2014 my wife unexpectedly passed away and I stepped away from iRacing for about 5 years. I just didn�t have the desire to race so I completely sold out. I kept in touch, actually my teammates kept in touch and checked in on me often. I appreciate those guys a lot.

In 2020 I decided to jump back in and built a new rig and started the service again. I gravitated back to the old Sim Chassis guys(a lot of them had stepped away)now called F5 and I started racing again. 

We had some success in A Open which caught the eye of Boyd Hoggan and he invited about 6-7 of us to join Legacy which we did.

I left Legacy early in 2021 because I worked nights. Raced with Frontline in 2021 but again the job made it virtually impossible to be on any team. Fortunately I'm working days now so my nights are free.
