RPM Team Office Tutorial
1. After creating your team and it is approved, you will need to sign into your team office using the "Team Office" link in the RPM Account menu.
2. Then you will need to add cars and numbers to be used by your drivers. You do this by logging into your TEAM OFFICE and clicking on "Race Shop".
3. Then you will be able to send offers to drivers using the "Drivers" menu. Simple click the "View League Drivers" link and select a series to search. Drivers will only be allowed to receive offers IF the "looking for a team" check box is checked in their profile for the series. You will ONLY be allowed to sign drivers if you have a car available before hand. Once you send an offer, a driver can accept or decline. Check the "Drivers" page for offers accepted or declined. If an offer is accepted, you will be able to sign the driver. Drivers and team owners shoud negotiate the percentage of the winnings the driver receives based on performance and other factors.
4. When drivers are signed, owners have the authority to release you. You can also renegotiate your contract. To do this, simply release the driver, telling him you are going to resign him immediately with a different percentage. Communication with drivers and owners is critical.
5. Once a driver is signed, you simply choose the number the driver will be using.
6. It is also the responsibility of the team owner to post car downloads for the driver. Team owners car upload cars for the drivers on the "Race Shop" page. Simply click edit on the far right for the intended car. On this screen, you will provide the sponsor, car, car picture, and car name. Simple follow the directions for each field. Team owners will be provided 5 car files for each car.
7. To download cars that have been uploaded, simply use the "Download Cars" link on the main page under the FTSR Series logo. You can sort by series and creat a .zip file if necessary.
8. Once the 2007-B season starts, team owners will be required to sign-up for every race. Owners can do this periodically or all at once. To do this, simple visit the "Office" page. You can also add additional series for the team to compete, as well as edit team info.
9. Team owners start out with a $1 million loan per series entered. Team owners will pay this loan off as you win money throughout the season. You wil lbe able to make payments by visiting the "Bank" page. Owners shoud pay this off so that you will be able to take out a loan if needed. There is a limit to the amount of money you can borrow.
After you learn all of the above and set your team up, simply sit back and manage your team to the top. After you do the above, you simply need to keep a check on the finances and repair cars. Other than that, good luck. See ya at the track...
